Vasilopita Salty (Greek Christmas Pie)


Ingredients

9-10 phyllo sheets 11/2 (index) cup. Flora 1/4 tea with butter (melted) 300 g. feta cheese 300 g. cream cheese 6 large eggs 80 g. semolina ( fine ) Salt white pepper 1 egg yolk mixed with a little water

Directions

1.Preheat the oven to 170 ° C and brush with a little Flora butter a round pan.

2.Break the eggs and beat with wire.

3.Crumble the cheese and add to the bowl with the eggs. Add the semolina, salt and pepper and stir.

4.Spread in greased pan 5-6 phyllo sheets one to one bruch them with Flora butter.

5.Pour the filling into the pan and spread with a spoon to be uniform. Put the coin, wrapped in little foil.

6.Cover the filling with the remaining phyllo sheets also greased one to one with Flora butter. Finally brush the surface of the pie with egg and carve into pieces.

7.Bake to180⁰C for 55-60 minutes until well browned.
