Greek Christmas Dessert ''Kourabiedes''


Ingredients

1 cup fresh butter melted 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar 1 1/2 cup of flour 2 vanilla 1/2 cup of almonds peeled

Preparation

1.Melt the butter and strain into another pot and throw away the dregs. Allow the butter to cool, freeze.

2.Once cooled, beat the butter too well n 'whitened until it becomes like a meringue.

3.Then add the powdered sugar and continue to beat for ten minutes.

4.Pour the flour and vanilla and then we work by hand.

5.Mix in the almonds. Allow the dough to be tighten and after mold like little meatballs.

6.Put them in a buttered baking sheet and place in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

7.In 20 minutes open the oven and touching the buns. If you sink the finger ''kourabiedes'' is ready. Otherwise leave them for other 5 minutes.

8.As they are hot, add powdered sugar.
