Feta Pie


Ingredients

1/2 kilo of Feta cheese

Dough like pizza's

1 egg (beaten)

olive oil

Green peppers (or any pepper you want spicy or sweet)

For the dough

400-450 grams of flour

280 grams of warm water

1 sachet of dried yeast

1 teaspoon sea salt

50 grams of extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

If you don't have time buy some ready dough like ''pillsbury'' ,If you have time make your own dough for pizza.

1.First we need to make the dough.

Pour into a bowl the yeast first after the flour, salt, olive oil and finally the warm water.REMEMBER should never come into direct contact the salt with the yeast because the dough will not rise after.For this reason always put first the yeast.

2.Now knead the dough and fill flour if needed.Τhe dough should not be too tight.

3.Οnce the dough is ready, apply a little olive oil and cover the bowl with a towel and let dough to rise for an hour.

4.Now make two phyllo ,one fat for the bottom and the other one thin for the top.

5.Grease your oven pan and put the fat phyllo first.Put the crumbled Feta and chopped peppers everywhere except at the edges.Now put the other phyllo on the top and turn the edges of the bottom phyllo to create the pie like a nest (look the first photo).

6.Now get a brush and spread everywhere the egg.

7.Preheat your oven at 220c Celsius and bake for 25-35 minutes (it depends the oven).
