Baked chicken with sweet onions


Ingredients

1 Chicken cut into pieces

1 kg sweet small onions (for stifado)

1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup of red wine

Smoked sweet paprika

Greek spice ''dafnis'' (2 leaves of bayberry)

Oregano

Black pepper

1 teaspoon of sugar

Sea salt

Allspice

Water

Preparation

1.Boil the chicken into the pressure cooker for 15 minutes and after drain but keep a cup of the chicken water.

2.Scalding the onions in hot water for 5 minutes along with their peels.

3.Clean peels from onions and add to the pressure cooker along with chicken,1/2 of olive oil,1/2 cup of red wine,smoked paprika,sea salt,oregano,2 leaves of bayberry,allspice,1 teaspoon of sugar,black pepper, and the cup of chicken water.

4.Cook in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes and preheat at the same time your oven in to 200c celsius.

5.Now get an oven pan and put all the ingredients from pressure cooker inside.

6.Bake for almost 30 minutes until evaporate the liquids and stay only with the oil.

TIPS!!! If you want 10 minutes before the food is ready turn the oven into the air heat for better color.
