Greek dessert ''TILIXTO''


Ingredients

For sponge cake

5 big eggs

1 tea cup of sugar

1 tea cup of farinap (flour rising)

1 vanilla powder

For cream

3 tea cups of milk

5 tbps of sugar

5 tbps of corn flour or caster powder (i don't know in your countries what you use)

Directions

1.Striking first in your MIXER the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla very well in high speed. After bring down the speed to low and slowly add the flour (farinap).

2.Butter a shallow baking pan and sprinkle with flour.Then turn the pan upside down to drop the flour left over.Now spread the mixture into the pan and preheat the oven to 190-200 degrees Celsius.Put the pan in the highest position and bake for about 10 minutes.

3.Until cooked should we prepare the cream. Put the milk with sugar and caster powder and stir in medium heat with a whisk wire all the time until it thickens. if we want now we can put some flavor of lemon or orange (optional).

4.Remove the sponge cake and turn it upside down with attention.Apply the cream everywhere except the corners and wrap it gently to become like roll.

5.Cover with a towel (because we want to become softer the sponge cake) and leave it into room temperature with membrane, NOT in the refrigerator.GOOD LUCK MY FRIENDS!!!
