"Sarmadakia" Greek traditional food Vine leaf with rice and minced meat


Ingredients

1 jar grape leaves (200 g approx.) 750 g. lean minced meat 5 fresh chopped onions 3 large onions chopped 1 cup. nychaki rice 2 tbsp. mint fresh or dry 4 tsp salt 1/2 cup. olive oil water pepper 2 small lemons 1 tbsp corn flour.

Preparation

In a large bowl mix bluntly: minced meat, chopped onions and chopped green onions, rice, mint, 2 tsp salt, olive oil, 1/2 cup of water and pepper (as we). Boil for 10 minutes vine leaves. Put some olive oil on the bottom of the cooker. Wrap them stuffed and put them round the cooker. In a bowl mix 2 cups water, 2 tsp salt, 1 small lemon squeezed, pepper and a cup of olive oil. Drizzle them stuffed with the mixture. Place a plate on top and close well the cooker. Cook over high heat and just come out of the valve pan, lower the heat. Allow the food to be cooked for a half hour. Squeeze a little lemon and mix with 1 tbsp cornflour and a little juice from the grape leaves. Pour over the stuffed vine leaves and let the pressure cooker open to high heat for 3-4 minutes. The food is ready for serving!
